SUMMARY:Park Primary School Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Scottish Civic Trust’s My Place Photography Competition is a Scotland-wide photography competition for school age young people aged 4 to 18. It encourages young people to explore the buildings\, architecture\, and history in the places they live\, and experiment with using photography as a means of investigation and creative expression.   \n\n\n\nWith support from The Wheatley Foundation\, 28 pupils from Park Primary School took part in outdoor photography workshops in different areas of Stranraer – this exhibition showcases the creativity and hard work of these local young people.

Classes\, facilitated by Diana Hamilton\, will embrace the theme of Shorelines by exploring the landscape through the introduction of poetry and poetic techniques\, embracing the relationships we have with our environment\, our Shoreline. The classes will explore the sea and our senses\, the moon’s tidal influences and the landscapes ever changing nature.
