DESCRIPTION:Write On! is a creative writing workshop\, hosted by Diana Hamilton. \n\n\n\nCreative writing can be a fantastic outlet for your thoughts\, feelings and own stories you wish to record or share. Writing creatively can unlock memories\, help you capture moments and generally give you a chance to have some fun with words. No experience is necessary and the classes will explore different types of writing\, giving you the skills to take away with you and use how you wish. From poetry to prose (stories) the classes will help you find your feet\, grow your confidence and encourage you to find your own personal style of writing.  \n\n\n\nIt is hoped that the classes will give you the tools to write a few things you are proud of and would like to share in the form of a book where the group’s work can be published and celebrated.

It’s on its way!  \n\n\n\nWendi Cuffe and Tom Wilson have an exciting update on all the water sports activities and what you can expect to see and get involved with on the waterfront. \n\n\n\nKatharine Wheeler\, will be talking to us about the What We Do Now network\, a newly established network for Dumfries and Galloway\, managed by The Stove\, to support creative placemaking work and development in our region.

DESCRIPTION:Available to view Wednesdays – Friday from 12pm – 4pm\, and on Saturdays from 11am – 2pm.\n\n\n\nThere have been a lot of exciting things happening for Creative Stranraer this past year\, one of these includes setting up a number of creative groups\, from drawing classes to creative writing and poetry classes.  \n\n\n\nWe will be celebrating those who have been attending these groups\, as a way to learn\, develop skills and build up confidence\, by showcasing their work throughout January.
