Meet Our Team

Janet Jones
Project & Engagement Developer
Janet moved from Yorkshire, in 2021, after falling in love with Stranraer and buying a yellow cottage by the sea. She loves the people and sees the fantastic potential for everyone in the town. You will often hear her say that Stranraer is the place to be, the land of opportunity. Listen to Janet’s infectious enthusiasm and you will believe it too.
Janet with the support of The Stove established Creative Stranraer and the Creative Hub at the top of King Street, while she was working for the Stranraer Development Trust as the Art and Engagement Officer. Janet’s vision for Creative Stranraer is to become an established organisation in the town, offering creative opportunities for the community and creative answers to best develop the town’s regeneration and Place Plan.
